Italian singer, Laura Pausini, is a superstar throughout European, Latin American, and Middle Eastern countries, famed for her powerful voice, her romantic ballads and love songs.

In 1999, Luciano Pavarotti invited Laura to his annual “Pavarotti and Friends” concert. She performed the soulful ballad ‘One more time’ and the two of them arranged the aria. ‘Tu che m’hai preso il cor’ from Franz Lehár's operetta, ‘Das Land des Lächelns’, as a duet.

On 8th November 2007, Laura won a Latin Grammy Award for the best female album with 'Yo Canto', Spanish version of the album ‘Il Canto', with sales of over 2 million copies worldwide. Laura dedicated the award to the memory of Italian legend Luciano Pavarotti.
